Compromise

The word compromise is not used in the King James Bible.  The word was first used in english around the 1400's.  Now the word is used in several ways in english.  A compromise is reached to end disputes and wars.  To compromise trust or reputation of someone.  The CIA has been compromised by the accusations of water-boarding---for example.  I just had that word pop up last week and have been thinking about it ever since.
I have nothing but the undeserved favor of God.  I have this because God compromised His law through the sacrifice of His Son.  The war between God and man was ended at the Cross.  If you have some time, check out the War is Over video in an older post.  This is not the use of the word that kept coming to me.
I believe that The Father is upset with the church for compromising what He has done for us in Christ.  The church has compromised The Gospel.  The church has compromised Christ.  Their demands on people to be "all that" without telling them that they are 100 percent right with God in Christ alone is a compromise of The Gospel that Paul preached.  I am going to stop right here and urge you to listen to The War is Over.---Be Blessed---c
