I ran across this video clip while checking in on a long distance mentor--who may not even remember me.  I was checking his bio because I could not remember HOW he got started ministering to the Church.  I asked myself, did he write a book? what was it?

Today I am determined to rest in the Grace of God in Christ. Today I am going to eat all of the Grace that The Father has provide in Christ. Today I am seated in Green pastures. Today is going to be a very good day---be blessed---c

Rejection reminder to self

Any human over the age of probably three years old knows or has experienced rejection. Rejection comes in many forms but probably most often shows up in a verbal fashion. Being accepted is a need within everyone of us. Without acceptance we strive for a place or a purpose to feel accepted. Church or religion is where many rejected people find their place of approval. We do the right things and recieve the praise of men to get our approval need met. That approval is always short lived and is temporarily satisfying. That is rarely if ever authorized by The Holy Spirit, and it leaves us exhausted and offended because we have done it out of our flesh as an obligation and not out of The Love flowing through us by the Holy Spirit.
Matt. 3:17 says that at the Baptism of Jesus a Voice from heaven said, "This is my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with Him." Three verses later, the devil came to Jesus and said, "If you are the Son of God, change these stones into loaves of bread." If Jesus lived in the place that most Christians live, He would have turned the stones into a truckload of bread and said "I told you, I told you, nanny, nanny nanee-nanee." But as we know He used the Word and quoted Deut. 8:3.."they must feed on every Word of God." The Voice of God had just come from heaven "This is my Son, and I am fully pleased with Him."
If we are in Christ, we are fully pleasing to Our Father God, and there is no need for us to jump through religious hoops to gain that approval. We can be at rest while the world and religion drive themselves to exhaustion to please man and try to gain something that they already have in Christ. The real thing is that we must KNOW that we are swallowed up in Christ. Just as death was swallowed up in the ressurection of Christ, we are also. Faith is the only way to gain righteousness, and the only Righteousness is in Christ---Be Blessed---c

if i had only known

If I had known what I know now, how different I would (maybe) have trained my children. When you grasp the true width and depth and height of God's love---I don't think that I would ever tell my child---you do this or I'm gonna... I don't think I can say this ever again because of the Revelation of The Father's Love. I can give credit to my wife (Brenda) and her mother Emma, her husband and our Pastor Wayne---Jack and Trisha Frost, Roger Gossnell--Andrew Wommack, Joyce Meyers, and right now I know that Joseph Prince is preaching THE GOSPEL of CHRIST JESUS! They all contributed to my Revelation, but It really just came to me when I asked for It.

If you spit on that bush---I'm gonna whip you good. Step around the corner and watch. That child will spit on that bush---even if he has to work up the spit! Maybe if I had said, "you know what? That bush right there does not grow as pretty if you spit on it." Step around the corner and watch. The child will not spit on the bush.

That is the reason for the New Covenant of Grace. It's His Love and our Faith in that Love that overcomes!---be blessed---c NO regrets--I am right where I need to be

I think that this will end this series here but by no means is this the end to the rights that Christ came to give us. We as believers have the right to lay hands on the sick and see them healed.

Mark 16:18 ... They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” (Please refer to rights of the believer IV)

One of the last things that Jesus said before he ascended is that we as believers can lay hands on the sick and they will be healed. If he said it, then we must believe it and know that it will happen. The word does not say that it is dependent on how well we follow the law. It says that if we believe, it will happen.

In acts chapter three, Peter told the lame man to get up and walk and when he got up he was instantly healed. verse 10..When they realized he was the lame beggar they had seen so often at the Beautiful Gate, they were absolutely astounded! ¹¹ They all rushed out in amazement to Solomon’s Colonnade, where the man was holding tightly to Peter and John.

I see something here. Everyone witnessing this were "absolutely astounded" and amazed. That is why none of them that had passed this crippled man day after day had not already had him healed. They did not know that it is a right to lay hands on the sick and see them healed. Peter was not amazed at all. Peter would have been amazed if the man was not healed. We need to establish our rights in our hearts and minds so much that we are surprised when prayer is not answered rather than hoping that God will answer. We need to stop praying "God please if it be your Will", and know His Will, because if we know His Word we know His Will." Maybe this is better---Let it be Lord according to Your Word! Just as Mary answered the angel that told her that she was to bear Jesus--"be it unto me according to Your Word." Luke 1:38---be blessed---c

I really enjoy this right a lot. Through Christ Jesus we have the right to have JOY! When everything is going wrong around us we can have JOY! JN 16:24 "...Ask, using My Name, and you will receive, and your joy will overflow." This is not happiness--happiness is dependent on circumstances. Joy is not dependent on what is going on. Joy IS because Christ has finished the work.

I know when I first received the impartation of His Joy. I have an older post called laughing and you can read the story there. When I get down, all I have to do is think about what Christ did for me and Joy comes. Jesus came down here and lived in the same flesh that we do. He went through the same problems that we do. He experienced every heartache, hardship, burden, etc. at the Cross when he took on ALL sin from Adam till the end of the world and HE IS GOD--for me? He would have come if it was just for me? This is too ridiculous to take in and I have too have joy. God loved me enough to do this for me. That gives me great joy. PS 32:1,2 "...What joys when sins are covered over!.." We have the right to have joy and we just need to remind ourselves of our salvation in order to stir up that joy---refer to right # 1---be blessed---c

Peace is our right. John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

We have the right to remain in peace even in the midst of chaos. I woke up one day this week and this is what I heard---"If you keep the Love OF God always foremost in your thoughts, then you can be in peace even in the midst of chaos." Christ is the Love of God. We can never be more loved that we were when Christ was on the Cross. We cannot make Him un-love us. It is done. It is when we bring or the enemy brings into our mind thoughts of OUR deeds that we start self condemnation and get ourselves out of faith and into fear and out of peace. Isaiah says that our deeds are as "filthy rags". If we do anything good or bad out of ourselves and not by The Father--those deeds are filthy rags. If you want to know just how bad God thinks OUR works are just research what the Hebrew meaning is for filthy rags.

I want to remain in Christ and receive His Peace. I just want to be where He wants me to be. I want to have Him lead me to where I need to be. I want his rest---be blessed---c

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.” 14 Through Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing he promised to Abraham, so that we who are believers might receive the promised Holy Spirit through faith. Gal. 3:13-14

We have the right to the blessing of Abraham as we have faith in Christ. The blessing of Abraham entails so many things. One being that we are declared righteous by our faith. Not by works but by faith. ¹What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, discovered in this matter? ²If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. ³What does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Romans 4:1-2.

Abraham lived under the blessing of the High Priest Melchizedek. Gen.14:18-20

¹⁸ And Melchizedek, the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High, brought Abram some bread and wine.¹⁹ Melchizedek blessed Abram with this blessing:“Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

²⁰ And blessed be God Most High,who has defeated your enemies for you.”

We have God Most High on our side taking care of our enemies for us. We have a High Priest that speaks blessing with no cursing as the High Priests under the Law. Under the Law, there was blessing and cursing depending on obedience to the Law. Melchizedek only blessed because of Abraham's faith. Jesus is now our High Priest in the line of Melchizedek(Heb. 7:11).

Jesus gave us the right to be blessed, just as Abraham was blessed in every way. Genesis 24:1 "Abraham was now a very old man, and God had blessed him in every way." He had long life, riches, land, heirs etc.... In every way we have the right as believers to be blessed. We should not be ashamed to have riches. We just give the tithe as Abraham did to Melchizedek and help others and be not ashamed, but give God the credit because He gives us the power to get wealth through the blessing of Abraham--by our faith in Christ Jesus.---be blessed---c

I think that the second greatest right of the believer has to be the right to have Holy Spirit live in us. And I also believe that this is the most underutilized right that Christ has given to the believer. John 14:17 "the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you." Many believers do not recognize that there is another baptism--the baptism of The Holy Spirit. Acts 15-18 When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. Another instance of two separate baptisms is Acts 10:44-48 ⁴⁴ Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who were listening to the message. ⁴⁵ The Jewish believers^{]" style="font-size: 0.75em; line-height: 0.5em; ">[a]} who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles, too. ⁴⁶ For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

Then Peter asked, ⁴⁷ “Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?” ⁴⁸ So he gave orders for them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Afterward Cornelius asked him to stay with them for several days.

One third of the Godhead is given as a right to the believer because Christ guaranteed that if He went away The Comforter would come and be 'IN" us. What a tremendous gift or right that we have because of what Christ did for us. And Jesus said that every sin can be forgiven except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. I don't know exactly what that means but I want to show the utmost respect for Holy Spirit. I surely don't want to deny that there is a second baptism.

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead---is given to me?? How awesome is that!

This is the same Spirit that hovered in Genesis one to create our world lives in me?? TOO MUCH!! Thank You Father! Thank You Lord Jesus!---be blessed---c

I think that the Holy Spirit is leading me to write a series about our rights given us as we believe in Christ as The Way, The Truth and The Life.

Eternal life in communion with The Father, Creator of the universe, has to be our greatest right as a believer. John 14 1-3 NLT “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. ²There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am."

Only because we put our entire hope in Christ' sacrifice can we claim the right to always be with The Father--Forever. Only through Christ are we considered worthy to have a relationship with The Only Father Forever. I believe that this is our greatest right as a believer. Our Pastor asked one wednesday night service what we were most thankful for. My reply was victory over death, hell and the grave, and I believe that this is included in this right of the believer. Only Christ gives us this right. Just as The Father gave Jesus the right to pick His life up after he laid it down, Christ gives us this truly awsome gift. ---be blessed---c

new day

The Lord showed me in Job that He declares a new day everyday. "Have you ever declared a new day?" (c3 paraphrase) "¹²Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days" It hit me that as we receive salvation we have a new day and a new beginning. The Father that made the day-- declaring a new day is never at rest. If you look at the earth as it turns, that same Father that created the earth is constantly saying "NEW DAY!", every second it is a new day somewhere. Every second that we live The Father is saying "New Day!"

We need to know that Christ is always at the Father's right hand making a New Day for us--ALWAYS. We cannot make ourselves righteous anyway so why would we keep ourselves under a condemnation that we cannot escape???

Christ makes a NEW DAY---every second. ---be blessed---c

Transfiguration

Mark 9. Verse one, at first, seems as if it should be included in chapter 8. However, it works just as well as an introduction to the transfiguration account here in Mark. -- 9:1 "I assure you that some of you standing here right now will not die before you see the Kingdom of God arrive in great power." This statement was said to "His disciples and the crowds"(8:34). Six days after this Jesus took Peter, James and John to a mountain. The Catholics say that this started the final 40 days of Christ's earth walk before the Cross. I believe that. It happened between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Passover. The last Feast and the first Feast--I Am the First and The Last-- As the three were standing there Elijah and Moses appeared and were talking with Jesus. One gospel says that they were discussing what was to come in Jerusalem to accomplish God's Plan. And suddenly Moses and Elijah disappeared and only Jesus remained. Moses was the first savior of the Jews and represented the Old Covenant in the Law. Elijah was the first of the Prophets and one who never died a natural death, and the first to resurrect the dead. He restored a child to the parent. Peter James and John were permitted to see Christ as He truly IS. I believe that they were there to bear witness forty days before they were going to see Him beaten so bad that he did not even look human(Isaiah 52:14). Then A voice from Heaven--very much like the same at His baptism before He spent His forty days in the wilderness--This is My Beloved Son" --Then The Father added "Listen to Him." The Law and The Prophets message was fulfilled in the presence of those three disciples. Jesus in His Glory remained and received the Father's Authority. This was also The Father encouraging the Son to complete the work. Just as He came to Him before the wilderness experience (tempted for forty days), The Father came to encourage and hold up His Son to live through the even greater temptation of His next forty days to come.---Thank You Jesus for Your Finished Work! There were three disciples present at the transfiguration. In the four Gospels, three of the Gospels give an account of the transfiguration. Matthew 17, Mark 9 and Luke 9, why not John?If you remember, I brought out that in Mark 9 the first verse seems to maybe be out of place. I think that the first verse of Mark 9 is the reason why there is no account of the transfiguration in John. I believe that John took that word from Jesus for himself. I think that John had a relationship with Christ that the others did not. He accepted Christ without reservation, and he believed that he would see the Kingdom come. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the only Son of the Father." John was talking about the transfiguration. He did not give an account in his Gospel because he believed that he would see the Revelation before he died---and he did.

E lijah was the first person to raise someone else from the dead. He was also the prophet to fulfill the prophecy of Moses. Some people think that Jesus was the fulfillment but as I read it I think that it was pointing to Elijah. The second half just doesn't sound like Jesus. The prophecy in Malachi says that Elijah will come again--the prophet that fulfilled the Moses prophecy--and did not experience death himself, but was taken up---will return before Messiah. After the disciples had seen Moses and Elijah AND THE GLORY of Messiah, and they heard the Voice from Heaven proclaiming Jesus as THE ONE, then they ask "why do the scribes say Elijah must come first?" This is where you can really get messed up thinking with your mind and not with the aid of Holy Ghost. "He is indeed coming first, in fact if you can see it, he has already come and was badly mistreated..."( this is not a direct quote). They had just seen Elijah and recognized him--without any prompting. And they ask WHY do the teachers say that he must come first. Well, did Elijah not just show up to them? Jesus answered with He has come and is coming---. Jesus Has come and is Coming. Jesus was the first to raise Himself from the dead just as Elijah was the first to raise others. The Father gave Jesus that command. He gave His life and He took it up again. What happened before will happen again before the second coming of The Son of Man---that is word given to me a few years back, and the Word will back that up.---Get ready the trump will blow soon and we will be called up before that great and dreadful day of the Lord---Read Rev. 3:10 that was my word for the day.---Thank You Father that we as your children will be spared the trying of the earth! This time when Moses came down his face glowed so much that the people were afraid to come near him. And Jesus took them to the top of a mountain---sounds like where Moses got the law. No one else was there. As the men watched, Jesus appearance changed. Wow! Does this sound like a salvation experience or what? I never saw this before. No one else is there. Jesus becomes His real self to you---suddenly! Peter, James and John had been hanging out with Jesus for three years or so, and taking in the Wisdom of God from Him, but had yet to see Jesus as He truly IS. I can relate. I was introduced to Jesus at a very early age but failed to see Him as He is for many, many years. I was baptized in water at the age of 8. I believed that Jesus was my only Salvation, but I was motivated by fear and not by Love. I was taken in by a doctrine that said that I must accept Jesus and then I must do. It was not until I had an encounter with The Father and He filled me with His Spirit and I saw Jesus as He Is-- then I understood: He made me and He saved me and I had nothing to do with either one. It is only by His Grace that I am. I was created to be a human being--not a human doing. If it is by works that we are saved we should be Muslim. The good deeds must come from Him and not ourselves. We create corruption and death. The Father creates Life. As we let Him move through us, He creates Life. As we strive, we produce death. Hebrews 4:11(NKJ) Let us do our best to enter in to that(His) place of rest. I think that I should mention the last member of the party on Transfiguration Mountain--James. This is not the James that wrote the book in our New Testament. That James was Jesus' half brother. This James was one of the "Sons of Thunder" John's brother. I had to question why him or why them--why these three. James did not write any books of the Bible--why was he chosen to see the Transfiguration? I thought I should mention the last member of the party on Transfiguration Mountain--James. This is not the James that wrote the book in our New Testament. That James was Jesus' half brother. This James was one of the "Sons of Thunder." I had to question why Him or why them--why these three. James did not write any books of the Bible--why was he chosen to see the Transfiguration? Luke 5: 8-11 Peter, James, and John were the first three disciples and they left everything and followed Him. They were the three that were there for the whole of His Ministry here on earth in a human body. They knew as much as any of His followers that he was a human, and they needed to SEE that He Is God.

I think that I may be doing a wrap-up of this series, but I'll have to see what Holy Ghost has up His sleeve.---be blessed---c

transfiguration John

I think that the first verse of Mark 9 is the reason why there is no account of the transfiguration in John. I believe that John took that word from Jesus for himself. It was not until I had an encounter with The Father and He filled me with His Spirit and I saw Jesus as He Is-- that I understood: He made me and He saved me and I had nothing to do with either one. It is only by His Grace that I am. I was created to be a human being--not a human doing. If it is by works that we are saved we should be muslim. The good deeds must come from Him and not ourselves. We create corruption and death. The Father creates Life. As we let Him move through us, He creates Life. As we strive, we produce death.

graduation

Graduation is a big thing. Last night I attended the graduation ceremony for my baby Anna Beth. I told her mother when she was born "we've got 18 years." I know that she feels that she has moved to another level, but I feel that my wife and I have also. It was very emotional seeing her cross that stage. It was very emotional knowing that our baby is finished with that stage of life. I had to also face the fact that as she moves to a new stage, we as parents move to a new and exciting stage of life. Graduates of the parents happened also. No more checking on report cards and such - they are on their own. Legally, 18 is adult-whether we or they know it.
Legally, when we accept Christ as our only way to The Father , we have graduated.
It is finished. No more tests to take. No more getting graded. We have passed with a 4.0. We are completely accepted in Christ. When we realize this, we will live more holy accidentally than we ever will on purpose.---be blessed---c
