free but never satisfied

We played funeral and you were not sad and we played wedding and you were not happy. You will have to look that scripture up for yourself. Try John. What Jesus was getting at when he said this was that people are never satisfied. If you go a little deeper, The Old Covenant played funeral and the new covenant is the wedding, but you aren't satisfied with either. How sad is that? You won't and can't keep the law, so I take the law away, and you won't even accept my New Covenant in Christ---which is FREE! What kind of logic is that?

Is. 55:1 HO! Is anybody thirsty? Have your choice wine or milk its all free! --be blessed---c

Exodus--the departure--replay

The word for today is Exodus 6: 8 and 9.  A paraphrase (c3): -- I will bring you into the land that I swore to give your forefathers and it will be your very own property.  I AM the Lord!  So Moses went and told the people what The Lord had said, but they would not listen anymore.  They had become too discouraged by the increasing burden of their slavery.--
The burden of their slavery had taken over their believer.  The vision had gotten buried under circumstances.  Hopelessness had swallowed up hope.  Their ancestor Abraham had received the word of the slavery and the deliverance.  That story had been handed down through time to the people that Moses was talking to.  Instead of looking at the promise of God, they had successfully been taken over by the cares of this world.  Their slavery had been bad enough before, but just before this in scripture, the Hebrew slaves had been told to not only make as many bricks as they did before, but now they had to get the straw themselves also.  What we need to take away from this:
Sometimes things get worse before they get better.
God's promises are true.
Believe everything that God tells you.
I think that if the children of Israel would have listened to Moses and just packed up and left, the Lord would have protected them and they could have walked right out---by faith.  But there are a lot of lessons about human nature that we would not have in the bible if they had just believed the Word and acted on it.  This blog could get really long if I chase that down.---Be Blessed---c

Freedom Alliance

Right now freedom alliance is the number one searched term on google.  This strategy brought 10 views yesterday, so I thought I would try it again today to see what happens.  It turns out that yesterday's term was a company name and today's is an organization.  But the phrases both can be applied to our lives in Christ.
Isaiah 44:22 "I have swept away your sins as the morning mists...I have paid the price to set you free."  Sounds like freedom to me.  Galatians 6:14 "God forbid that I should boast in anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ...".  I believe that when Christians know their freedom and know that it comes from only the cross, then we will become a freedom alliance that will take over the world.  An alliance is  a close association of nations or other groups, formed to advance common interests or causes. Imagine all the segregated denominations of the Church coming  together knowing a Loving Father who has taken away all their offense and boast not in themselves , but only in the Christ---Jesus.  One voice shouting in the wilderness--- preparing the way of His coming.  The problem is that we as Christians have let outside influence make us feel unworthy and therefore we do not shout.  I HAVE PAID THE PRICE TO SET YOU FREE.                                                      ---Be Blessed---c
